"Beams Parade" and "Blurred Light Island" by Ishida have this shimmering, propulsive quality that makes the puzzle loop hypnotic. "Creep Sequence" by Ichiki goes darker and more textured. "Overnight Sensation" by Masaki Kawasaki is the standout original, hitting with a late-night energy that justifies the name completely.
"Around The Universe" by Metalmouse pushes into spacier territory. But the real surprise is the Namco crossover material: dedicated skins for The Tower of Druaga, XEVIOUS, and PACMAN, each reimagining those retro sound palettes through the Lumines filter.
The tracklist is lean at fourteen entries, but every piece serves the audiovisual puzzle concept that made this series matter in the first place. "Shippu" by Ichiki brings urgency, "Secret" brings mystery, and the Results screen wraps everything up clean.
A worthy mobile revival that understood what Lumines was always about.
