The Orchestra Ver. by Nakae Mitsuki opens with sweeping strings before Hachiroku and airots each put their own stamp on it. That one melody, heard through three different lenses, tells you everything about how seriously this project treats its character songs.
The middle section belongs to Sakurasaki Chiyori, who carries a run of tracks including "明日へと" (Towards Tomorrow), "思い出の結晶" (Crystal of Memories), and "The Road We Belong." Each one hits a different emotional register, from hopeful to bittersweet to determined.
"Blooming Symphony" in Hibiki's version brings a brighter energy, while "Silentrail" in Paulette's version goes somewhere quieter and more introspective.
