Yamaoka cranked the rock influence up to eleven for Origins and it rips. This PSP/PS2 prequel soundtrack leans harder into industrial metal than any other Silent Hill entry, with Mary Elizabeth McGlynn's vocals anchoring the heaviest tracks.

"Shot Down In Flames" opens with this aggressive guitar wall that feels like it belongs on a metal album, not a horror game. "O.R.T." pulls back into something more atmospheric and brooding. Then "Not Tomorrow 3" keeps that melancholic guitar tradition alive, proving Yamaoka can't help writing sad even when everything else is loud.
"Hole In The Sky" closing things out with McGlynn going full force. If you want the angriest Silent Hill soundtrack, this is the one to throw on.
