"Beautiful Ruin" has this eerie calm that clashes against "モノクマオーバークロック" (Monokuma Overclock) going completely haywire. The class trial music in "学級裁判異形編" is tense and off-kilter in the best way. "P.T.A." still goes ridiculously hard for debate music.
And "未来の前の日" (The Day Before the Future) closes it out like a gut punch. Only eleven tracks but every one counts. If you played DR2 and those trials still live rent-free in your head, this sampler knows exactly which nerves to hit.
