This whole score sounds like sinking into cold water on purpose. Nicolas Bredin wrote Under the Waves leaning hard into that post-rock Sigur Ros space, all slow piano builds and guitar textures that blur into ambient drones.

"Dive" sets the tone immediately with these layered pads that just pull you under. "Whale Song" does something gorgeous with cello and reverb that sits right on the edge of uncomfortable. And then "Fragile" strips everything back to almost nothing.
Just breath and keys. The way it mirrors the grief in the story without ever being manipulative is honestly impressive. If you want something that sounds like the ocean feels at 3 AM, this one will wreck you.
