Unicorn Overlord's OST, led by Mitsuhiro Kaneda under Hitoshi Sakimoto's direction, sounds like the tactical RPG score people have been chasing since FFT. "Cornia Battle" hits with this marching snare foundation that threads through the whole album like a heartbeat for Alain's growing rebellion.

The overworld themes shift beautifully between day and night variants, and "Cornia Overworld (Night)" has this fragile warmth to it. Then "Fighting off the Enemy Commander" drops the full orchestral hammer. 89 tracks across four discs and it stays cohesive somehow.
